What you are buying

An eSIM is a SIM card your phone downloads instead of one you slot in. Clear Roam sells prepaid data plans on eSIMs that work in a specific country or region: you install the profile, land, turn on roaming for that line, and you are online at local rates you have already paid.

Your normal number stays where it is. The travel eSIM is a second line carrying only data, so calls and messages still reach you as usual.

Daily allowances and fixed packs

A daily plan gives you an allowance that refreshes every day, and you choose how many days you need. A data pack is a total amount to use across a fixed validity window. Short trips with heavy use suit daily; longer, lighter trips suit a pack.

What "unlimited" means here

Some daily plans keep working after the allowance at a reduced speed; others stop until the next day. Both are shown on every plan, in the plan's own words. We only use the word "unlimited" where the reduced speed is still fast enough to be useful — around 500 Kbps or better. Plans that throttle harder than that are sold on their plain allowance instead, even though the provider calls them unlimited.

Your money

Card details go to Stripe, never to us. When you pay, the amount is authorised — held, not taken. It is captured only once an eSIM has actually been issued to you. If provisioning fails, the hold is released and you are not charged.

An eSIM you have not installed can be refunded. Once it has connected to a network the data has been bought from the carrier and cannot be returned. Email [email protected] and a person will read it.

Buying here or in the app

Both storefronts price from the same catalogue and issue from the same provider, and both install with one tap on the phone you are holding — the order page hands the profile straight to your phone's own eSIM setup. The web adds a QR code for the case the app cannot cover: you bought on a laptop, and the phone that is travelling is a second device.
